Dr. Gyan Bahadur Tamang

Dr. Tamang is Assistant Professor of Nepal Open University. He began his career in academic field 20 years back after completion of his master’s degree from Tribhuvan University (Shanker Dev Campus). He earned his Ph.D. in the year 2018 from Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. Before his Ph.D. he was involved in two research works funded by University Grant Commission, Nepal. He worked as team member in both research-works. He has a number of research articles published in national and international journal.
He facilitated diverse subjects like Accounting, Financial Management, Production and Operations Management, Project Management, Principles of Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Business Environment, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management, Critical Thinking and Decision Making, International Business, and Research Methodology during his 20 years of teaching career as faculty members in various colleges affiliated to national universities and universities from aboard. He has published a couple of textbooks for postgraduate level.
Dr. Tamang is also resource person for workshops and training on Research Methodology. He has been invited as resource person in numbers of faculty development programmes organised by various community colleges affiliated to Tribhuvan University. He has also facilitated the numbers of session in Orientation program on Research Methodology and Thesis writing organized in Central Department of Management, Tribhuvan University for final year students. Recently he has invited and conducted two days’ workshop on Research Methodology and techniques for bankers organized by BFIN.
Dr. Tamang is also associated with Operational Research Society of Nepal and Nepal Evaluation Society, and actively involved in annual activities of societies: conferences, talk programme and like.
