Ramji Bogati completed his Ph.D. in Landscape Ecology and Landscape Planning at the Faculty of Spatial Planning from TU Dortmund University, Germany in 2012. He studied Master's degree in Zoology (Ecology) and a Bachelor's degree in Science as well as Health Education from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He has also accomplished 130 weeks of different 11 online short courses related to urban and city management, climate change, disaster, ecosystem, and sustainability. Currently, Dr. Bogati is a Program Coordinator of a Master's degree in Natural Resource and Development Program and teaching faculty. Besides this, having more than 12 years of teaching experience in the Central Department of Environment Science-TU and MU Institute of Cooperation and Development-Mid-West University and more than 12 years teaching in private and government schools, he was also a trainer in the environment, health and population education, vulnerability risks assessment, and ecosystem-based adaptation. Dr. Bogati has been involved in research and development in the field of environment, biodiversity conservation, and natural resource management since 2000, and climate change adaptation, and social and environmental development projects since 2010. He has published articles and books/chapters, environment dictionaries, etc. Landscape planning, ecosystem-based adaptation, disaster risk reduction, biodiversity conservation, natural resources management, urban green space, monitoring, and evaluation are the major research interests and working areas.
